Ospreys Rugby Supports Velindre Cancer Centre

The Events Room, in aid of Velindre Cancer Centre are hosting a fundraising evening on Thursday 2nd May with former England footballer Matt Le Tissier.

The event is being held at the Liberty Stadium and will consist of a sumptuous two-course dinner, raffle and auction, with proceeds going to the Ospreys’ nominated charity for the season, Velindre Cancer Centre.

Special guest for the night, Matt Le Tissier, was a phenomenally gifted midfielder who spent his entire career at Southampton and gained eight caps for England. He was the first midfielder to score 100 goals in the Premier League and his loyalty to his beloved Southampton earned him the nickname of 'Le God' by his adoring fans. He also held the notable record of converting 47 penalty kicks out of a possible 48.

Since finishing his playing career, Le Tissier has gone on to become a hugely popular football pundit on Sky Sports’ Soccer Saturday.

The evening will commence at 7.15pm with dinner served at 7.30pm prompt. The dress code is lounge suits and dresses.

Tables of 10 are available for £450. A number of individual places are also available on shared tables at £45 per head. Please note that we have negotiated a special discounted rate of £35 per head for Ospreys season ticket holders or Premier Club members. We also have 30 VIP tickets available at £75 each, where you will attend an exclusive champagne reception with Matt in the Stadium’s fantastic Centenary Suite and benefit from prime location seating for the main event.
