Ospreys to remember the fallen

The Ospreys will remember and honour all those who have fallen in battle at Friday night’s Anglo-Welsh Cup game against Wasps at the Liberty Stadium.

Ahead of Armistice Day and Remembrance Sunday, players, management and supporters from both the Ospreys and Wasps will pause ahead of kick-off to pay their respects to the sacrifices made by members of the Armed Forces who have been killed or wounded serving their country.

Both team captains will lay a wreath pitchside ahead of a minute silence immediately before the 7.30pm kick-off.

In addition, the Ospreys players will visibly show their support for the Royal British Legion’s annual Poppy Appeal when they wear special poppies on their match jersey.

Supporters attending the game are requested to be inside the ground and in place early to avoid causing any unintended disruption. Turnstiles open at 6.35pm, an hour before kick-off.

You can buy tickets for this game priced from £20 (adults), with child tickets available from just £5, at the Liberty Stadium Ticket Office or at www.ospreysrugby.com/buytickets.

Season members are reminded that this match is covered by their 2017/18 membership.
