An exciting full time opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and motivated physiotherapist to join the Sport Medicine Team in the high performance environment at Ospreys Rugby.
The role would suit someone who is Band 5/6 equivalent and the successful applicant will have a BSC Hons in Physiotherapy, be a member of the CSP and HPC registered.
A minimum of one year post graduate experience is required and a background in sport science would be considered beneficial but not essential. Applicants will also be expected to demonstrate experience of working with athletes and a commitment to further develop an expertise in the field of Sport Medicine.
Job Description
To facilitate the injury prevention, physical rehabilitation and delivery of medical services to the Ospreys Elite Development squad, as well as providing pitch side first aid and trauma management, treatment/rehabilitation and education to the Ospreys Age-Grade Squads at both training and games, and to contribute to the delivery of an elite physiotherapy service to the Senior Ospreys Squad under the guidance/supervision of the Regional Head Physiotherapist.
