The Ospreys will kick-off their Magners League defence with a trip to Ulster on the opening weekend of the 2010/11 season.
First up at the Liberty Stadium the following weekend will be a historic first ever Magners League clash against Italians Benetton Treviso, before a second trip to Ireland to face Munster and another Italian visitor to the Liberty, Aironi, rounds off a busy opening month.
Derby-wise, the Ospreys then visit Parc Y Scarlets on the first weekend of October before hosting the Scarlets over Christmas week. Newport Gwent Dragons visit the Liberty Stadium at the end of October with the return trip pencilled in for the weekend of 15th April. The Ospreys will face Cardiff Blues at the Cardiff City Stadium over the New Year period, with the Blues travelling west on the first weekend of April.
The Magners League regular season will conclude with a home game against Munster on the weekend of 22nd April and Aironi away on the first weekend of May. The play-off semi-finals will follow a week later, before the second Grand Final takes place on Saturday 28th May.
At this stage the fixtures are weekend only dates. Specific dates, kick-off times and in some cases, venues, will be released after consultation with the individual teams and the Magners League broadcast partners.
The TV partners for the 2010/11 season will include BBC ALBA (Scotland), BBC Northern Ireland, RTE and TG4 (Ireland), as well as long standing Welsh broadcasters BBC Wales and S4C.
