The Ospreys hope to have Jerry Collins fit for the weekend trip to Leinster after he limped out of the New Year's Eve defeat to Cardiff Blues.
The former All Black aims to feature when the Ospreys face Leinster at the RDS Showground on Friday evening, and the medical team will be working hard on his calf strain to enable him to make the re-run of last season’s Magners League Grand Final.
Ospreys Head Physio, Chris Towers, confirmed:
“Jerry suffered a calf strain against the Blues, an injury that isn’t considered too serious. He is touch and go to make the Leinster match but we are optimistic that he will be available for the game against London Irish on Sunday 16thJanuary without any concerns.”
