Premiership Rugby today confirmed the fixture schedule for the Singha Premiership Rugby 7s Series which kicks off in Cardiff on Friday 22 July.
It’s an exciting time for rugby 7s with the sport about to make its first appearance at the Olympic Games since 1924.
The Singha 7s, the only 7s tournament where all 12 Premiership Rugby clubs and the four Welsh regions compete, is the leading club 7s event in a summer packed with 7s action.
The Singha Premiership Rugby 7s boasts an impressive list of alumni including Elliot Daly, Christian Wade, Owen Farrell, George Ford, George Kruis, Jack Nowell, Jack Clifford, Anthony Watson, Jonathan Joseph, Ross Moriarty, Freddie Burns and Marland Yarde to name just a few.
On the Ospreys part, last year’s competition gave supporters a first glimpse of exciting young talent such as Keelan Giles and Reuben Morgan Williams.
"Every year, the Singha Premiership Rugby 7s unearths a host of impressive new talent,” said Phil Winstanley, Rugby Director, Premiership Rugby.
“It's a really exciting start to the season and a great way for players to show what they can do to be in contention for first team action.”
The Singha Premiership Rugby 7s Series kicks off on 22 July at Cardiff Arms Park with the Finals at the Ricoh Arena on Sunday 7 August. For tickets go to ospreysrugby.com/buytickets – season members, you can claim your free tickets for this event in person from the Liberty Stadium Ticket Office
