Following today’s launch of 2019/20 season memberships, we are delighted to be able to confirm details of the brand new Liberty Pass.
Introduced for the first time, the new product has been brought in following feedback from our loyal season members this season, and offers entry to all regular season games hosted at the Liberty Stadium only, at a lower price than a standard season membership.
There is a guaranteed minimum of 10 games at the Stadium next season, all of which will be covered by a Liberty Pass*, with prices starting at just £130 for renewals (adults) and £10 for U16s, or £155/£15 for new members**.
Two Guinness PRO14 games were switched to Morganstone Brewery Field earlier this season to assist with team performance, both of which proving to be a big hit with the local business and rugby communities.
With the Ospreys looking at future games potentially being taken to club grounds around the region, the Liberty Pass allows an increased level of flexibility in match scheduling while enhancing value for money for season members who do not wish to attend games played away from the regular home of the Ospreys.
Managing Director, Andrew Millward, said:
“We have listened to what our season members have told us and acted accordingly. While the games against Connacht and Ulster earlier this season were moved to Bridgend for the right reasons, we understand that not all season members were able, or wanted, to go to games away from the Liberty Stadium.
“With that in mind we have agreed to introduce the Liberty Pass for next season, with a guaranteed minimum of 10 games at the Stadium in 2019/20. What this does is provide us with flexibility to ensure that the team plays at the most convenient time and day for optimal performance, without alienating any loyal supporters who have paid up front for their membership.”
Supporters who want to follow their region across all home games can still do so with a regular membership, starting at just an extra £10 (renewals) or £20 (new).
*Scheduled Guinness PRO14 and European fixtures played at the Liberty Stadium only. Does not include additional knockout games or home games played at alternative venues in the region
