The Ospreys will once again be running rugby coaching camps for children during the half-term school break in October.
Hosted by the Ospreys community rugby department, in conjunction with sponsors RWE npower renewables and Warburtons, the courses are being held at the regions Llandarcy Academy of Sport HQ.
Open to all boys and girls eligible in the Under-7 to Under-11 age groups, whatever their level of ability, there will be two one day courses during the week, both running from 8.30 am until 3pm.
Attendees will receive first class coaching from the Ospreys community coaches, helping them to improve their current skills and learn new ones, as well as getting the chance to make new rugby playing friends from across Ospreylia. There will be a visit from some Ospreys players during the day, while all the children will receive a free ticket to the Ospreys V Glasgow Magners League match on Friday 30th October.
Ospreys Community Initiatives Officer Ioan Cunningham said:
"Our Kids Camps always prove to be immensely popular and I would expect these to be no different so if there are any children keen to attend, my advice to their parents is to make sure they register as soon as possible.
"These courses provide a fantastic opportunity for the children who attend to enjoy quality coaching in a relaxed environment, where the emphasis is very much on the fun of rugby. Throw into the mix things like player visits and a free ticket for the Glasgow match, and you make for a great experience for any young rugby player during the half term holidays."
