Numbers rise at Llandarcy as more girls try rugby for free

The programme started last September on a Monday Evening in Llandarcy with only a handful of girls coming to have taster rugby sessions but the numbers have now grown to more than 40 girls turning up week in week out from many comprehensive schools in Ospreylia.
There are two options on offer with the sessions, there is a touch rugby option which is non contact or a contact element for those who are keen to try out tackling. The sessions are free and all new girls are welcome to come and participate. Sessions are held on a Monday Evening at 7pmuntil 8 pm a tLLandarcy Academy of Sport.
