The Ospreys have today received the dates and kick-off times for the two April Welsh derby matches - away to Cardiff Blues, and home to Newport Gwent Dragons in what is set to be Shane Williams final home game for the region.
With the battle for the play-offs hotting up after Aironi’s shock win over Munster at the weekend, the PRO12 fixture schedulers have confirmed that the Ospreys will travel east up the M4 to face Cardiff Blues at the Cardiff City Stadium on Saturday 14th April at 6.30pm.
They welcome the Dragons to the Liberty Stadium the following weekend, on Friday 20th April (KO 7.05pm) for what promises to be a special evening when Ospreys legend Shane Williams says his farewell to the fans before hanging his boots up at the end of the season.
The regular PRO12 season then concludes on Saturday 5th May when the Ospreys are in Italy to face Aironi, before the play-offs kick off the following weekend.
