The Ospreys will travel to Portugal tomorrow and make the Algarve their home for a week as they take part in a preseason camp, and you can follow them on social media!
Players, management and staff will once again head South thissummer to return to Browns Sports & Leisure Club in Vilamoura for an intense 7 days of training in preparation for the 2019/20 season, which kicks off in less than 4 weeks time with a home preseason match against Hartpury RFC at the Gnoll.
The team, now in their second block of preseason preparations will head to the warm weather training facility which has previously been used by ourselves as well as clubs such as Saracens, Ulster and Clermont Auvergne, as well as national squads and high profile teams from sports across the world. Established in 2000, the facility was designed to provide excellent training, accommodation and support conditions to all athletes from grass root teams to national professional teams in a safe and secure yet relaxed environment.
But the hard work won’t be taking place just in the gym and on the field, as we’re also setting the players a challenge while they’re away! They’ll be taking over our social media channels for the week giving you, the fans, an exclusive insight into what happens behind the scenes!
