In January the Ospreys will launch the U16s programme for 2013/14, splitting the current programme into East and West sides for the first time.
Ospreys East group will be selected from Bridgend, Neath and Aberavon schools.
Ospreys West group will be selected from Swansea and Swansea Valley schools.
A main group and a development squad will be selected to offer opportunities to around 100 players towards representing their region.
The Ospreys understand that in order to develop players we need to have the right environment for them to develop. As part of the restructure, the Ospreys Player Pathway is looking for skilled coaches to deliver the rugby programme based at Llandarcy Academy of Sport on Monday evenings.
We are looking for the following positions in each team:
Head Coach, Backs Coach, Forwards Coach, Defence Coach and Conditioner.
The roles will require the ability to plan and deliver rugby sessions as part of a coaching team in line with the Ospreys Skills Curriculum.
Requirements:
Knowledge of high performance rugby and/or three years experience in the Player Pathway
UKCC level two rugby coaching qualification is essential
UKCC level three or above is desirable
This position requires an enhanced CRB disclosure check
