Ospreys East U16's 29 - 19 RGC U16's

The young Ospreys make it six wins in a row before their final game of the season on March 2nd.

For once it wasn't a perfect start for the Ospreys EastUnder 16's as they kicked off at Banwen RFC on Sunday afternoon. RGC Under 16's came out the blocks fast and within 10 minutes were over for an unconverted try.

The two teams held each honest and with half time fast approaching it looked like RGC would take their narrow lead into the break. However when the visitors found themselves down to 13 men after two yellow cards with just 7 minutes of normal time left to play, the young Ospreys started scoring and it seemed like they couldn't stop. Caine Woolerton evened the scores and then just a few minutes later Captain Will Barraclough powered over to take the lead.

With the clock having gone red Tom Davies then completed the moves to give the Ospreys East their third try of the afternoon. Tiaan Thomas-Wheeler adding his first successful conversion to bring the first half scoring to a close.

The Ospreys East Under 16's started the second half more convincingly than they had the first. Only 6 minutes had been played when Barraclough crashed over the line again for a try that went unconverted.

The game once again settled down again until with just twelve minutes left to go the tries started coming thick and fast again. Barraclough, leading from the front, once again breaching the RGC defence to get himself a hat trick for the afternoon. Thomas Wheeler further streching the Ospreys East Under 16's lead with a successful conversion.

A late rally from the visitors saw them score two converted tries in the dying minutes but it was too late to fully get themselves back into the game and at full time the score was:
