Things got worse for the home side soon after as hooker Garin Lloyd was sent off for coming in at the side of the maul. Despite the Ospreys West having a man overlap they couldn’t make it count and it went to half time:
Ospreys East 0 – 7 Ospreys West.
Soon after the game restarted it was the West Under 16’s who were in trouble, as Evan Budge was shown a yellow for being offside. However the Ospreys East team couldn’t take advantage of their extra man. Instead it was the team from the West that were over the line once back to 15 men.
