Ospreys delighted to announce new deal for Tom Botha

In an exciting development for the Ospreys, the team are thrilled to officially announce that Tom Botha has committed his future to the club by signing a new contract.

A product of Paul Roos Gymnasium in Stellenbosch, the powerhouse prop has become a fixture in the Ospreys' formidable front row and has made a significant impact since his arrival. His destructive scrummaging prowess has turned him into a fan favourite at the Swansea.com Stadium. Botha made his 100th appearance for the team against Edinburgh last season and is now at 113.

Having joined the Ospreys from the Cheetahs, Botha quickly adapted to the demands of top-flight European rugby. His ability to compete at the highest level, including in the highly competitive BKT URC and EPCR Competitions, has been critical for the Ospreys in recent seasons.

Botha has been a stat standout this year in EPCR Challenge Cup, the South African has been amongst the competition leaders in attacking rucks hit this season.

In the tight, you need someone of Tom's calibre, and his destructive scrummaging ability has been vital for us.
