After a successful day that saw Gorseinon, Bonymaen and Aberavon Green Stars U16's all win silverware last Sunday, this weekend will see the finals days of the Ospreys Cup U15's take place at Maesteg RFC.
The U16’s final day was a great success both on and off the field with highly competitive games played in a fair and positive manner with a large crowd witnessing the development of emerging local talent.
Gorseinon outscored Nantyfyllon by 18 points to 7 in the Bowl Final and Bonymaen triumphed by 17 points to 12 over Tonmawr in a hard- fought Shield Final.
Finally, the Cup Final was contested by Aberavon Green Stars and Porthcawl, with the Green Stars coming out on top by 23 points to 15.
Ospreys players Lee Byrne, Gareth Owen and Shane Williams were on hand to sign autographs and present the trophies to the winning captains.
This Sunday (May 15th), will see Maesteg RFC will play host to the Ospreys Cup Under 15's Finals from 10:30AM.
