Ospreys confirm supporter bus from Neath

Further to some close cooperation with the OSC, Ospreys Rugby are pleased to confirm that the supporters bus from Neath WILL be operating for the match on Saturday against Gloucester.

Following some discussion with a number of supporters in the Neath area, and in conjunction with the OSC area reps (contact details below), Ospreys Rugby have agreed to run the bus on a 5 game trial run.  Should the route prove ecomically viable, it will of course continue.

With all bus routes over the last few seasons losing money each year, and with no increase in take-up for these arrangements, a slightly disappointed Ospreys management decided over the summer to withdraw the facility, preferring instead to hand over the reins to the newly-formed Ospreys Supporters Club (OSC).

The OSC have recruited a number of local area representatives who will all be working hard around the region to help facilitate economical means of travel to home games this coming season.  This may involve car sharing, mini-bus or coach travel, depending on location & the relevant concentration of Ospreys supporters.

The Neath & Skewen area has typically had a loyal corps of fans, and the supporters bus over the last few seasons has always had a relatively consistent number of traveling fans.  As such, it's been agreed that this particular route be reinstated, with the assistance of the following Neath area reps:

Jeff Thomas (07976 838336) or Grant Berni (07881 511832)

If you'd like to register your name for inclusion on this bus, please contact either of the above.

We look forward to seeing everyone here on Saturday!
