Ospreys in the Community: Health and Wellbeing Takeover

Ospreys in the Community have been a busy bunch ahead of the Philtronics Community Day at the upcoming Benetton game, working with community groups to make the day even more special with their Health and Wellbeing Takeover.

From the Mid and West Wales Fire Service to Sporting Memories, here’s a full list of what’s going on at the Swansea.com Stadium.

Mid and West Wales Fire Service

The Fire Service does invaluable work in our communities and recently launched their Stay Safe this Spring campaign which looks to highlight the increased dangers of a fires during spring time. They will be at our Ozone, with their Safety in the Home display, with handouts, so make sure you pay them a visit before the game.

Save a Life Cymru

Every year in Wales, over 6,000 people will have an out of hospital cardiac arrest and it’s Save a Life Cymru’s goal to make sure those numbers go down. They will be at our Ozone to give first aid displays and demonstrations to help attendees understand how they can play a part in saving someone’s life.

Sporting Memories

Designed to help older people re-live positive memories and provide companionship, Sporting Memories has been a hugely successful part of OitC’s work in the community. 30 members of Sporting Memories will be attending the game and taking part in a bunch of activities with OitC and the Happiness Company.
