Ospreys assessing Prydie injury

The Ospreys' medical team will this week assess the knee injury suffered by Tom Prydie during Saturday's Magners League win over Glasgow at the Liberty Stadium.

The young wing was helped off the field after appearing to twist his left knee and Head Physio, Chris Towers, said that his condition will be checked out over the course of the week.

Towers commented:

“Tom sustained a left knee injury during the second half that forced him off, and the immediate suspicion is that it is an ACL injury.

“We will be investigating the injury further over the course of the week, he will be scanned and we will seeking specialist opinion to confirm the full extent of injury and to plan the best course of treatment and management for Tom.”
