Ospreys announce team for Edinburgh

The Ospreys have named their squad to face Edinburgh for Round 11 of the BKT URC. The game will take place at the Hive Stadium and is kicking off on Friday 1st March at 19:35pm.

Justin Tipuric is set to captain the side.

Nicky Smith starts at loosehead, with Sam Parry lining up at hooker and Tom Botha completing the front three.

James Ratti partners with Victor Sekekete at lock. Harri Deaves lines up at six, with Justin Tipuric on the other flank and Jeandre Rudolph starting at eight for his first Ospreys start.

Luke Davies starts at scrum half, with Dan Edwards partnering him at 10. Keiran Williams lines up at inside centre with Evardi Boshoff taking up the 13 jersey.

In the back three, Jack Walsh starts at full back, with Keelan Giles on one wing and Alex Cuthbert on the other.

Morgan Morris and Rhys Davies both return to the squad following their time out injured.

Head Coach, Toby Booth, said: “Travelling to Edinburgh can often be a tough fixture. They’ve had a fair few internationals released back to them for this fixture but we have a few important players returning from injury as well. We have to carry on with the same effort and intensity that we’ve shown in recent weeks.”
