Ospreys announce Sword Security as official security provider for the season

The Ospreys are proud to announce award-winning Sword Security as our official security provider for the 2020/21 season.

Sword Security is a global leader in Crowd Management and Event Security Services. The company has supplied staff for some of the biggest events in the calendar, including the London Olympics back in 2012 and the Glastonbury music festival, and for numerous sporting clubs.

With offices in Wales, England, Ireland and North America, Sword Security has delivered high quality services to Welsh clients for more than a decade.

Jason Hendy, Sword Security Regional Manager for Wales, said:

"We are now delighted to have been appointed as the Official Security Supplier to Ospreys Rugby, the No. 1 Club team in Wales. In these challenging times, it’s great news for our team in Wales to be working with such an amazing team.

“As a life long Ospreys fan I am very excited to be involved in this project. I know it will be a great partnership as both brands are committed to supporting the community and demonstrating how valuable sport is to people's lives, especially in the current climate. We look forward to delivering safe events with the Ospreys in the coming years.

“We have had a base in Cardiff for more than a decade and we manage a lot of sporting events and we wanted to get involved in rugby in Wales.  This is a new venture for us and the Ospreys are such a big name in the rugby world and it was a great opportunity to be involved with a club that is at the heart of the community.”

Wayne Hall, Ospreys Head of Sales, said:

“To have Sword Security become part of the Ospreys family in these challenging times for business is a testament to the relationship we have built with Jason and his team.  I know Jason is a big supporter of the team and we are excited to see Sword Security become our security partner. The values of the Ospreys and Sword Security are very much in tune and they will play a key role in supporting and protecting our community.”
