The Ospreys announced today that Floodlighting and Electrical Services Ltd had become the official floodlighting partner of the club in a multi-year deal.
As the Ospreys official floodlighting partner, Floodlighting and Electrical will be installing and maintaining LED floodlighting at St Helen’s, ensuring supporters get the best possible view of all the on-pitch action for the 26/27 season.
The Pontyclun based floodlighting specialists recently installed a 500 lux floodlighting upgrade at the Brewery Field, the home of the Ospreys for the 25/26 season.
Richard Lancaster, Commercial Director of the Ospreys, said: “We’re really happy to have Floodlighting and Electrical on board as we look ahead to a bright new future at our new, long-term home at St Helen’s. Their expertise in their field will be hugely beneficial for us and as always, it’s great to be working with another local partner that values rugby in our region.”
Gareth Thomas, Managing Director for Floodlighting and Electrical Services, said: "As an approved Floodlighting Partner of the WRU for over 35 years, we’re proud to continue our support and partnership with the Ospreys for the 2025–2026 season. We're especially excited to be supporting them in their move to St. Helen's - a ground with rich rugby heritage.
"Last month, we completed a major upgrade of the LED floodlighting system at Brewery Field to 500 lux, and we look forward to seeing both players and fans benefit from the improved lighting quality.
"Our mission is to support rugby across Wales by delivering industry-leading floodlighting solutions. Helping clubs stay safe and operational during the winter months not only improves the training and match day experience, but also boosts club revenues."
