Ospreys and Mercedes Benz of Swansea team-up again

Mercedes Benz of Swansea becomes Official Vehicle Partner of the region

The Ospreys have announced details of an extended commercial relationship ahead of the first home PRO12 game of the new season that will see existing partners, Mercedes Benz of Swansea, become Official Vehicle Partner of the region.

In addition, Mercedes Benz of Swansea has recommitted to its ongoing support of the popular Ospreys Executive Club, the matchday business destination at the Liberty Stadium, which continues to go from strength to strength.

Launched ahead of last season, the Executive Club is a members-only facility designed with all Ospreylian businesses in mind, as well as individuals who appreciate a special environment on matchday, which has seen membership numbers grow by over 100 per cent for this new campaign.

Powered by Mercedes Benz of Swansea, a proud partner of the region since its inception in 2003, and hosted by Swansea Sound’s Kev Johns, it provides not only the perfect setting for businesses but also a fantastic environment for networking, with a full pre and post-match programme of entertainment as well as exclusive opportunities to find out what is going on behind the scenes at the Ospreys.

Yarnie Guthrie, Commercial Manager at the Ospreys, welcomed the news that a long-term partner was recommitting to the region:

“We are delighted to be able to announce that in addition to agreeing to continue as the power behind the successful Executive Club for 2013/14, Mercedes Benz of Swansea will be extending their relationship with the Ospreys by becoming Official Vehicle Partner to the region.

“Their ongoing support is truly appreciated. For us to thrive on and off the field then we need the continued support of companies such as this who, like us, are at the heart of the local business community. We hope that we can continue growing our relationship with Mercedes Benz of Swansea, not only throughout this season, but for many seasons to come.”

The Ospreys are among a number of leading sports team to receive access to an exclusive vehicle package through Mercedes Benz UK.

Andy Pacitti of Mercedes Benz, Swansea, added:

“Our relationship with Ospreys Rugby continues to go from strength to strength. We are proud to not only continue our support of the Executive Club, which is a first class matchday environment, but to now be appointed as Official Vehicle Partner of the region.

“We have worked in partnership with the Ospreys for 10 years, and have seen the relationship grow strategically as both businesses have grown. With the first home game of the new season now just days away, we are excited not only about what the Ospreys can achieve this year on and off the field, but also, about how we can work together to grow this successful partnership even further.”
