Players, officials and supporters will pause for one minute ahead of kick-off tonight at Myreside to honour the memory of Elli Norkett, who died so tragically last weekend.
The 20-year old Ospreys and Wales Women player, and Ospreys in the Community coach, was killed in a road traffic accident last Saturday evening, and those present at this evening’s Guinness PRO12 match between Edinburgh and the Ospreys will hold a minute’s silence before the game gets underway.
Elsewhere, Cardiff Met University, where she was in the final year of a sport development degree, has dedicated its British Universities and Colleges cup quarter-final against Loughborough at BT Sport Cardiff Arms Park on Friday night to her memory.
