Neath Port Talbot College take on Gower College Swansea while Bridgend College host Llandovery
After a 3 month break for the Regional Under 18's competition, the Wednesday Under 18's League returned to action last week. With Gower College having a free week, it was NPTC and Bridgend College's that got back into the competition first.
In the upper tier of the Championship, Bridgend managed a tight 17 - 15 victory at home over Cowbridge College, seeing them move up to fourth place in the table. In the lower tier NPTC continued to struggle, Coleg Llandrillo's 24 - 5 victory over them meant they slipped back down to bottom place with only one win from six so far this year. Despite having no game Gower College Swansea kept hold of their top spot and go into this week's match with a three point lead at the top of the table and a game in hand.
Despite GCS and NPTC sitting at different ends of the table, there are no guarantees as they face each other for the third time this season tomorrow, Wednesday 11th February, at Llandarcy, 2.30pm kick off. Inter region rivalries will ensure NPTC will be battling hard to stop them losing to Gower College for a third time.
