Only 2,000 tickets remaining for Scarlets

With just 2,000 tickets still remaining on sale, the Boxing Day clash against the Scarlets looks set to completely sell-out well in advance of matchday,

All Category B and C tickets, including all family areas, have already been snapped up with the remaining tickets, all situated in prime seating areas in the upper tier of the North and South Stands, expected to fly out of the Liberty Stadium Ticket Office over the next fortnight ensuring a capacity 20,520 crowd.

Hospitality packages for the traditional Christmas derby are also selling extremely well with only a limited number of spaces still available.

Ospreys Managing Director, Roger Blyth, urged supporters still to buy their tickets to do so now or face missing out on the West Wales derby, saying:

“If anyone thinks that they will be able to just turn up on the day and buy a ticket then I’m afraid they are wrong and are likely to miss out on the game that no Ospreys fan wants to miss!

“The response from our fans to this game has, as always, been outstanding and it looks set to be another incredible Liberty Stadium occasion, something special over the Christmas season. Anybody who wants to be here for the game shouldn’t hang about, they need to move now to secure their seat.”

Ospreys skipper Alun Wyn Jones said that the whole squad will be buoyed by the fact that they are set to run out in front of a full house at the Liberty Stadium once again:

“There’s nothing like a packed Liberty Stadium, the atmosphere here with a big crowd is second to none so it will really give us all a huge boost to run onto the pitch and be greeted by a capacity crowd getting behind us for our big local derby.

“I was fortunate enough to have played in the two previous Christmas sell-outs against the Scarlets that were both fantastic occasions. I’m sure the atmosphere will be just the same, and we’ll settle for a similar result.”

Category A tickets, priced at £28 (Concessions £20), are still available at the Liberty Stadium Ticket Office, online at www.ospreysrugby.comand via the Ticket Hotline on 08700 400 004. For hospitality enquiries, please contact the Commercial Department on 01792 616500.

Meanwhile tickets continue to sell well for the Heineken Cup clash against Munster on Saturday 18thDecember, with almost 14,000 tickets already accounted for, guaranteeing the highest home crowd of the season to that date. Once again, supporters are advised to purchase their tickets early to avoid any possible disappointment.
