Almost 500 pupils and staff from schools across Wales will be joining Ospreys in the Community at the Liberty Stadium tomorrow to cheer on the Ospreys.
When the Ospreys run out against Bath tomorrow night in theAnglo Welsh Cup they’ll receive an extra boost, with students from primary and comprehensive schools across the region, and beyond, waving them on.
Alderman Davies, Bryntirion and Dwr Y Felin pupils will be our first half flag bearers and Guard of Honour. For the second half, the teams will be welcomed on to the field by YGG Tan y Lan and Townhill Primary, as well as students from Greenhill School in Tenby.
To celebrate this schools event, more than 150 children will also take part in a special half time parade, so make sure you give the students of Cefn Hengoed, Birchgrove Comprehensive, CCYD and Awel y Mor a wave as they pass by. Also taking part in the parade are members of the Urdd and Tondu RFC so give them a cheer as they enjoy a lap of the field.
Ospreys in the Community are also excited to welcome players from Pencoed U12’s and members of Evolve Youth Clubs to the Stadium tomorrow evening.
If your school, team, or group are interested in attending a future Ospreys game, and would like more information on events, group ticketing discounts or matchday activities, please contact the Ospreys in the Community team on 01792 616512 or email community@ospreysrugby.com.
