During the last 12 months, the Ospreys management has been able to monitor the workings of the Liberty Stadium and have listened to the comments made by our Season ticket holders and supporters in general.

We recognise that, whilst the new stadium offers an outstanding environment for the modern supporter, changes need to be made to ensure that we provide the environment that rugby supporters enjoy.

With this in mind we are pleased to announce the following:

2        Season tickets:

Prices for next season will be held at the same level as for this season, but it should be noted that for next season, tickets will be valid for any pre season friendly, all Celtic League (10 matches) , European Cup pools stage (3 matches)  and Anglo Welsh (2 matches).

We are also introducing a:

3        Half Season Ticket Scheme:

We will issue further details on this before the end of the season, but in essence this will give flexibility to those supporters who want to commit to a ‘reduced’ set number of matches per season.

4        Concessions:

We are reviewing the concessions available and will be providing a more flexible approach in response to the observations of the supporters. Again, we will provide details of this before the end of the season.

5        Bar Facilities for Season ticket holders:

At the beginning of this season we introduced a ‘membership’ scheme for the Riverside Suite and despite our best intentions, this facility never lived up to expectations. We have decided therefore to make this facility available for all Season and Half Season ticket holders. With access limited to 400 people, this will be done on a first come first serve basis.

Current Riverside Suite members will be refunded in full for this season’s membership and this new scheme will become effective at the start of next season.

In addition, and again at the request of many of our supporters we will be looking to introduce a scheme to allow access to a limited number of away supporters, on a reciprocal basis, so that Ospreys supporters can be catered for at away matches.

Further details to follow.

6        General Bar Facilities:

Again mindful of the observations and criticisms from some of our supporters, we are looking at ways of making the stadium facilities more ‘rugby supporter’ friendly and although there are no details available at the moment, we will implementing new initiatives at the start of next season. These will include ‘dressing’ of the stadium to provide memorabilia/photographs etc, mingling of players

7        Transport Scheme:

We introduced a Club coach scheme at the start of the season where we encouraged clubs within the Ospreys Region to ‘fill’ coaches to and from the Liberty Stadium.  Although there has been limited take up, the scheme has proved successful and we now intend expanding this programme to enable Season Ticket holders (Full or Half) and other supporters to take advantage of transport from across the region.

We will be providing details of this new scheme in due course.

We would like to thank all of our supporters who have travelled to the Liberty Stadium and with the team on their travels around Europe and are grateful to those of you who have provided invaluable feedback on the various issues outlined above.

It is our intention to make the Ospreys Region the most successful team in Europe and our home at the Liberty Stadium the best venue for supporters of all ages. We therefore welcome feedback – both negative and positive, so that we can remain customer focussed.

To make enquiries for any of the above, please contact us on 0870 990 9175

Yours sincerely
