Munster Rugby vs Ospreys: Ones to Watch

As the boys prepare to face Munster in the BKT URC later this evening, we took a look at some of their dangermen to prepare you for the game.

From an EPCR Player of the Year nominee, to an ex-British and Irish Lion, here is this week’s Ones to Watch.

Gavin Coombes

Gavin Coombes has been enjoying a great season for Munster so far, and his EPCR Player of the Year nomination highlights this. Coombes has been one of Munster’s stat leaders this year, placing in the top 10 in the BKT URC for carries and successful carries. Alongside that, Coombes leads his team for tries scored this year. A knack for a score coupled with elite tackling, Coombes is a dynamic dangerman.

Simon Zebo

An ex-British and Irish Lion, Zebo is the all-time record try scorer for Munster and still remains a dangerman to this day. Outside of his superb scoring record, the full back/winger bring a wealth of experience to the Munster lineup.

Jack O’Donoghue

O’Donoghue’s return from his recent suspension will be most welcome for Munster, the back rower is set to captain the side and his leadership could prove to be invaluable for the Irish outfit. O’Donoghue is a powerful ball carrier and often poses a threat near opposition try-lines.
