As the boys prepare for their trip to Munster, we took a look at our opponents to prepare you for the game.

The Irish powerhouse have a rich history of success, winning five league titles and two Heineken Champions Cups since 2000. Winger, Simon Zebo, is the record try scorer for the team, with 70 tries to his name.

Munster currently sit 6th in the BKT URC table and are on good form, winning four of their last five games.

Munster’s last game was a 40-30 win over Benetton, in which the Irish outfit were able to score six tries to pick up the bonus point win.

According to BKT URC stats, Munster have been the fifth best side in the league when it comes to defence. They’re also fourth best on the tackles made leaderboard.

No. 8 Gavin Coombes has been lighting up the BKT URC and the Heineken Champions Cup this year, his effective ball carrying earnt him an EPCR player of the year nomination earlier this month.
