Mefin Davies is to leave his post as ‘C’ Group coach with the Ospreys it was confirmed today.
Given the ongoing uncertainty surrounding the structure of the game in Wales beyond the end of the season, the business was not in a position to offer him a new contract once his current deal expires at the end of the current campaign.
It was mutually agreed that it would be in both parties interests if Mefin was allowed to leave with immediate effect, enabling him to pursue his next career opportunity.
Ospreys Rugby would like to thank Mefin for his services on and off the field over the last four years, and wish him all the best in his future endeavours.
