Ospreys fans will get the chance to meet Shane Williams and some his team-mates next week when they visit the Quadrant Shopping Centre ahead of the crunch Magners League fixture clash with Munster at the Liberty Stadium on Saturday 23rd April (KO 6.30pm).
The players will be in Swansea city centre on Tuesday and Thursday, where they will be signing autographs and posing for pictures with fans, as well trying their hands at face painting ahead of the visit of the league leaders, to encourage supporters to take part in the ‘blackout’ of the Liberty Stadium next weekend.
The players will also have a limited number of vouchers with them that they will be handing out to children that they can then exchange at the Liberty Stadium Ticket Office for a free ticket for the big game.
Shane will be at the Quadrant between 11.00am and 12.30pm on Tuesday and Thursday, along with a selection of his team-mates, with further player appearances confirmed for both days between 1.00pm and 2.30pm.
Speaking about his appearances at the Quadrant next week, Shane said:
“I’m really looking forward to getting out into Swansea city centre and meeting our fans next week ahead of the Munster game. It’ll be fun to get into the community and to help with the face painting.
“It’s going to be a massive occasion at the Liberty Stadium next Saturday and we want as many of our fans to be there as possible, blacking out the place. It’s the Easter Holiday so I’d expect there to be plenty of kids visiting us at the Quadrant on Tuesday and Thursday, meeting some of the players and picking up their voucher for a free ticket for the game. We are targeting a play-off place, and the supporters have a huge part to play if we are going to get there, they are a vital part of the team effort.”
Tickets for the game against Munster are now on sale at the Liberty Stadium Ticket office, online, and via the Ticket Hotline on 08700 400 004.
