Matchday tickets on sale now

Watching the Ospreys at the Liberty Stadium is better value than ever with the news today that admission prices have been pegged for the new season at 2008 levels.

Tickets for home matches at the Stadium up until the Christmas derby against the Scarlets are on sale now and the majority of adult supporters purchasing Ospreys tickets on a match-by-match basis will pay just £20 for their ticket, the sixth season that prices in Standard seating areas have been frozen at that price.

There is an added bonus for those who like to watch from the Premium seating areas, with adult prices reduced by £3 to £25 and U16s benefiting from a 25 per cent reduction to £15.

In addition, Ospreys management have increased the number of standard seats available within the West and East Stands, allowing more supporters than ever to pay the best possible prices for live rugby.

Tickets currently on sale include the PRO12 opener against Benetton Treviso on Friday 5th September, and Welsh derbies against Cardiff Blues and the Scarlets.

Yarnie Guthrie, Ospreys Commercial Manager, said:

“We have listened to supporters and acted to ensure that our matchday ticket prices are affordable and reflect outstanding value for money. We have again maintained standard adult prices at £20, while changing the categorisation of certain seats to ensure that there are more standard tickets available than ever before.

“By reducing the premium adult price to the same cost as 2008, we are encouraging more casual supporters in the region to come along and support the Ospreys at one of the best rugby venues in the UK. It’s a venue that is about to get even better with the addition of two mega screens to provide great views of all the action and incidents, taking the matchday experience to another level.

“For regular supporters, buying a season membership remains far and away the best value option for watching the Ospreys, but the new pricing and seating structure will help us to grow average attendances at the Liberty Stadium this season.”
