Matchday Bus Service Season-Tickets now

Ospreys fans can now secure their transport for EVERY home game this season from as little as £30 thanks to the new Bus Season Ticket which was launched today.

The popular matchday bus service, which runs from all corners of the region, was recently confirmed as operating once again during the 2009/10 season. Now, for the first time, the Ospreys are offering supporters even better value with a new season-long pass that offers a considerable saving on the already low-cost ‘on the day’ prices, and guarantees your seat on the bus every game.

Thanks to Veolia, the newly appointed official team coach & matchday bus service provider to the Ospreys, getting to the Liberty Stadium on a matchday has never been cheaper or easier. Veolia and the Ospreys have teamed up to enable supporters to purchase their Bus Season Ticket at the Ospreys Superstore, or online at www.ospreysrugby.com.

With a minimum of 14 games at the Liberty Stadium between now and the end of the season, the Bus Season Ticket provides outstanding value, with adult prices ranging from £30 from Llansamlet, to a top price of £60 for supporters travelling from Pencoed or Abercrave, which works out at less than £4.30 per game. Under-16's Bus Season-Tickets are fixed at £25.

There will be five services running, departing from Osytermouth, Gowerton, Neath, Abercrave and Pencoed, with pick up points along the main arterial routes within Ospreylia. The services will arrive at the stadium with enough time ahead of kick-off to allow fans to visit the Magners Supporters Village prior to the game, with departure just 30 minutes after the final whistle.

Ospreys Managing Director, Roger Blyth, said:

“We are pleased to be able to confirm details for the new Matchday Bus Season-Ticket’s, which provide excellent value for money to supporters, allowing them affordable and reliable transport to the game, wherever they are in Ospreylia.

“We have invested in the continued provision of the matchday service as we realise that it is crucial that we make it as easy as possible for as many supporters to get to the Liberty Stadium as possible, and that not everybody has access to a car. By enhancing the service through these value for money season-tickets that make it even cheaper, we are reinforcing the message that we want to look after our fans, and make it as easy and affordable for the local communities of Ospreylia to support the region at the Liberty Stadium this season.”
