Fiji Head Coach, John McKee, has included Ospreys back, Josh Matavesi in his squad for the 2015 Pacific Nations Cup, which kicks off this weekend.
Matavesi was in impressive form last Saturday as the Flying Fijians fell at the last against the New Zealand Maori in Suva, 26-27, and is now set to line up against Japan, Samoa and Tonga over the coming weeks ahead of the World Cup this autumn, where they have been drawn in the same pool as Wales, Australia, England and Uruguay.
He is joined in the squad by Tevita Cavubati, who played five times for the Ospreys in the second part of last season after joining as injury cover.
Fiji play Tonga in their opening Pacific Nations Cup match on Saturday 18 July at the ANZ Stadium in Suva. The team then travels to the USA to play Samoa on Friday 24 July and onto Canada where they play Japan on Wednesday 29 July.
