Masson family are enjoying the Ospreys for

Up to four children can watch the Ospreys completely free next season when accompanied by one paying adult thanks to the 'Kids Go Free' season-ticket deal, and one Porthcawl family of Ospreylians have taken full advantage of this fantastic value for money offer.

Ospreys fan Margaret Masson has just renewed her family season-ticket for the 2011/12 campaign, making it the third consecutive campaign that her four daughters have been able to attend every Ospreys match without paying a penny, and she is urging other supporters to join her.

Along with her two sets of twin daughters, Angharad and Bethan aged 13 and Catrin and Ffion aged 15, Mrs Masson is a regular in the family section of the East Stand, and she says that the package is unbelievable value for money.

“You won’t get better value anywhere, definitely not” she said.

“This is our third year as season-ticket holders, the price of the family deal means it wouldn’t make sense to not have a season-ticket. The deal allows you to have up to four free child tickets with one paying adult, and I suppose we are little bit unique to have four children from the one family on the deal, but as far as we are concerned it’s brilliant.

“We all love watching the Ospreys. I went to Dublin last year for the final, but we watch the games at the Liberty Stadium together as a family.”

Taking advantage of the ‘Kids go Free’ offer and the associated Loyalty Discount for existing season-ticket holders, means that Mrs Masson has paid just £155 for ALL FIVE TICKETS, meaning that the whole family can enjoy 17 Ospreys matches next season for just £9 a game – LESS THAN £2 EACH!!!

As Mrs Masson points out, that kind of value beats any other kind of family entertainment:

“I don’t know what else we could do as a family that cheaply. It compares excellently to other rugby teams, and to the football as well. When you compare it to prices for entertainment, the cinema or whatever, you really see what excellent value it is.

“We’ve just renewed for next season and I got my free jersey, which makes it even better value for money.”

The ‘Kids Go Free’ offer is available to all Ospreys supporters, allowing a maximum ratio of four free child tickets to one paying adult. Existing season-ticket holders have until 11th June to renew and take advantage of the special Loyalty Discount, with prices at £155 per adult, before the cost rises by just £10 to the Earlybird price £165, which is available on all purchases until 11th August.

In addition, all supporters who purchase a season-ticket prior to Tuesday 31st May will get a complimentary Ospreys 2010 replica jersey – either home, away, premier, third, training, ladies, replica hoods, junior or infant kits, subject to availability and while stocks last, from the Ospreys Superstore only.

Ospreys Managing Director, Roger Blyth, called on families across Ospreylia to follow the Masson’s example and sign up for value for money rugby next season. He said:

“Our season-ticket packages offer excellent value for all supporters, and it’s fantastic to see the Masson family taking full advantage of the ‘Kids Go Free’ deal.

“As Mrs Masson has recognised, there is very little you can do as a family on a day out in today’s world that costs as little as £9 for the whole family, but that is exactly what you can do with an Ospreys season-ticket. It’s a great deal and I’m delighted that three years in they are continuing to show their support for the Ospreys by investing in a family season-ticket, benefiting from the unbeatable value for money.

“I look forward to seeing them back at the Liberty Stadium next season.”
