Make the Magners Supporters Village your

League leaders Munster visit the Liberty Stadium on Easter Saturday (April 23rd), and the Magners Supporters Village will provide the perfect day-out for all the family with live music, face painting, inflatable's, a BBQ and much, much more ahead of the big game.

The Village will be open for business from the earlier than normal time of 4.00pm, with a host of attraction and activities guaranteeing a fun day out for all Ospreys fans, young and old alike.

As usual, there will be live music in the marquee to get the place rocking, along with the interactive KidsZone featuring a range of rugby themed inflatables such as try line tussle, bungee run, and passing targets, but there’ll be plenty to more to keep you busy ahead of the big game including:

·      Face painting to help ‘Blackout’ the Liberty Stadium

·      Appearances from non-playing members of the Ospreys squad, who will be mingling with fans, pulling pints behind the bar and posing for photos

·      An army climbing wall

·      Ozzy the Osprey

·      The OSC gazebo

·      Exclusive Ospreys giveaways

·      There will also be a BBQ and an ice-cream van available to keep you going!

Meanwhile, Shane Williams will be in the Village from 4.00pm, armed with a video camera to meet supporters and capture the matchday experience and atmosphere for an exclusive feature that will appear on ospreysrugby.com – don’t miss out on your chance to be a part of that film as he chats to fans and finds out a bit more about our fantastic supporters.

The Village will be open right up until kick-off, and will be open again immediately after the final whistle, to allow fans to meet up and talk over the game in a relaxed atmosphere while waiting for the post-match traffic disperse.

In addition to the activities at the Village, there will be further entertainment inside the stadium bowl ahead of kick-off, and at half-time, with full details to confirmed this week.

Ospreys Managing Director, Roger Blyth, commented:

“It’s an absolutely massive game against Munster on Saturday, with a big crowd anticipated, and with it being Easter weekend we are expecting plenty of families along to enjoy a day out together at the rugby.

“There will be plenty going on at the Village to occupy everybody, young or old, from live music to inflatables, with face painting to ‘Blackout’ the Liberty for the game, giveaways and player appearances, while Ozzy will be out and about meeting fans. Shane Williams will also be in the village, armed with a video camera, looking for supporters who want to share the matchday experience with others for our website.

“No doubt about it, it will be a great day out for the family, and with child admission in the family stand just £1 with a paying adult, you won’t get a better value family trip anywhere in Ospreylia this Easter. Family is one of our core values, we believe that if we support Ospreylians, they will support us.”
