Magners Supporters Village kicks off new season

It's the first home game of the new season on Friday evening and the Magners Supporters Village will be open for business as usual two hours ahead of kick-off.

The Ospreys welcome Magners League newcomers Benetton Treviso to the Liberty Stadium for the game, which kicks off at 7.05pm, and fans can get the night underway with live entertainment in the ever popular Village ahead of the game.

Swansea based indie cover band Rubix will be making their Liberty Stadium debut, taking to the stage at 5.15pm until shortly before kick-off, before returning to perform for around an hour after the game.

As was the case last season, the Ospreys rugby themed inflatable’s will be operating again in the KidsZone, while the OSC will also be present in the Village pre-match, so anyone yet to sign up for membership can do so before the game.

Meanwhile, the OSC will be hosting post-match activity in the new Ospreys ‘club house’ in the Riverside Lounge in the East Stand following the final whistle, where the guest of honour at the function will be former Osprey Lyndon Bateman. One of the ‘original’ Ospreys, Lyndon was forced to retire through injury at the end of last season, and on Friday night, he will become the first person to receive an honorary lifetime membership of the OSC. All supporters are invited along to enjoy the hospitality on a first come, first served basis.
