The Ospreys announced today that Luke Davies had signed a new deal to remain with the club.
Davies has been an important part of the squad since making the switch from the Scarlets, playing a key role in some famous wins for the Ospreys in recent seasons.
The scrum half has made 26 appearances and scored three tries since making his debut in the team’s opening fixture against Connacht last season.
Speaking on his new deal, Davies said: “The Ospreys has felt like home for me since I joined, some of my best mates are here and every day I come to work, I get a real buzz.
“It’s been great for me to train alongside Reubs and Kieran, and I feel like this has really helped in growing myself as a player, and a person. The next step for me is to keep on improving and helping the team in whatever way I can.”
Head Coach, Mark Jones, said: “We’re really lucky to have some quality strength in depth at scrum half and Luke is an important part of that. Each one of our nines have a unique point of difference, whilst also offering that consistency and level-headedness that’s required at the position.
“Like all of our squad, Luke has always been ready to step up when called upon and deliver what’s needed of him, so we’re all really happy to see him continuing his career with the club.”
Luke will be sniping through defences at St Helen’s next season, will you be there in the flesh?
