Liberty Stadium set for TAGMania

U7 and U8's teams from across the region will get to experience the big match atmosphere at the Liberty Stadium as part of the first ever Ospreys TAGMania event.

All clubs in the region have been invited to participate in what is set to be a fantastic afternoon of rugby on Sunday 7th June, running between 1pm and 5pm.

Tom Sloane, Community Rugby Officer for the Ospreys commented:

"We're really excited to be holding the first ever TAGMania day at the Liberty Stadium. It's a great chance for the community to come and play on one of the best rugby pitches around, something that not many get the opportunity to do.

"It's the first time that the Liberty has been opened up for such an event and it's a great way for us to reward our grassroots clubs from across Ospreylia for all the hard work and dedication that the coaches, young players, families and everyone involved in the clubs put in week in and week out.

"I'm sure that the children taking part will make memories that will last them a lifetime as they take to the pitch just like their Ospreys heroes, in front of a crowd that is there specifically to support them."

There is an admin charge of £20 per team to cover the costs incurred in running the day for stadium hire and stewarding. Any team wishing to take part, or for more information, please email tom.sloane@ospreysrugby.com.

Please note all players must be registered and will need to bring their cards, WRU Junior District Representatives will be on hand on the day to help with any registrations.

Spectator tickets will be available on the day for £3, allowing all those family members, friends and people involved in the club to come along and cheer the team on.

All players involved on the day will also be admitted into Ozzie's Army, our junior supporters club. Members of the army receive an invite to an exclusive party with the squad during the season, special offers, a birthday card from a player as well as a chance to be the Ospreys match day mascot.
