Elton, who has a career spanning more than four decades and boasts global record sales of over 250 million will perform for the first time ever in Swansea next summer. Tickets will go on public sale on Monday 5th November at 9am, and can be purchased by phoning the Elton John 24-hour ticket hotlines below. Tickets will not be available for purchase from the Liberty Stadium direct. Tickets for this fully reserved seated event are priced at £60.00 & £40.00 with a limited number of premium tickets. John Hague, Acting Chairman, Swansea Stadium Management Company commented: "We are delighted to welcome such an iconic and much loved performer as Elton to the Liberty Stadium for what will be his only Welsh date during 2008. This is a major coup for us, and I am sure that his fans in South Wales, young and old, will be excited at the opportunity to watch Elton at such a fantastic venue. Last year's inaugural concert at the Liberty Stadium was a huge success and I'm sure that this will prove to be just as spectacular, and will raise the profile of both the venue and the city to UK music fans still further." Elton John will perform over two hours of gits from an incredible back catalogue spanning over four decades. Swansea band The Storys will join Elton as special guests at the Liberty Stadium.
