King treated for ear wound

Ospreys forward James King was taken to Morriston Hospital for treatment to an ear wound suffered during the New Year's Day game against Cardiff Blues at the Liberty Stadium.

The 21-year old was forced out of the action in only the sixth minute of the game after receiving a laceration to the ear and was taken straight to the hospital in Swansea where he was treated at The Welsh Centre for Burns and Plastic Surgery, the regional centre of excellence for Wales and the southwest of England.

We will issue further updates as appropriate.
