Kick off 2014 with New Year double-deal

The Ospreys have confirmed details of a fantastic New Year double that enables supporters to watch two of the biggest games of the season for just £30.

First, local rivals the Scarlets visit the Liberty Stadium on Friday 3rd January (KO 7.15pm) for the second leg of the Domino's Derby Series back-to-back regional double header following a Boxing Day clash in Llanelli.

Then, the following weekend, Aviva Premiership giants Northampton Saints come to Ospreylia in a Heineken Cup fixture on Sunday 12th January, 12.45pm.

Under the terms of this incredible double-deal, adults can purchase tickets for both of these games for just £30 in standard seating areas (instead of normal two-match price of £40), or £40 in premium seating (normal two-match price £56). Child and concession prices for the double-deal are £5 (standard) and £20 (premium).

Ospreys Chief Executive, Andrew Hore, said the New Year double-deal aimed to make watching first class rugby affordable at a time of year when people were traditionally strapped for cash.

“These are two huge games, probably the biggest at the Liberty Stadium this season up to this point” said Hore.

With our closest rivals from across the Loughor Bridge coming to town just a week after they’ve hosted us at theirs, and then one of England’s leading teams visiting to renew traditional Anglo-Welsh rivalries, these are two fixtures that will whet the appetite of any rugby fan and deserve crowds to match the occasion.

“We understand that money is tight just after Christmas, and we realise that in the current climate some people may have to think twice about whether they can afford to attend both of these exciting big matches.

“With this great double deal it becomes more affordable to support the cause, and it would also make a fantastic Christmas present for any Ospreys fan. We look forward to seeing big crowds at the Liberty for these two games, making a statement about their support for the region.”

The New Year double deal is only available via the regular outlets at the Liberty Stadium; the Ticket Office, Ticket Hotline (0844 815 6665) and at ospreysrugby.com/buytickets. Supporters who have already bought a Scarlets ticket can purchase a Northampton ticket for £15 or £20 depending on their Scarlets ticket category, upon proof of purchase at the Ticket Office.

Tickets for the Northampton game will be available to purchase as a single-match offering at the normal prices from next week from all the usual outlets, as well as at Tesco Extra Bridgend, Tesco Extra Fforestfach, Tesco Extra Llansamlet, Tesco Neath Abbey and Tesco Swansea Marina.
