The Ospreys confirmed today that Keelan Giles had signed a new deal to remain with the team.
One of the most clinical wingers in Welsh rugby, Giles is renowned for his quick feet and trademark sidestep.
The speedster has scored 45 tries in 114 appearances for the Ospreys and is tied fourth in the all-time try scorer list with Sam Parry.
Giles was rewarded for his fine form in recent years with his first Welsh cap in Wales’ 31-22 win over Japan in the summer.
Speaking on his new deal, Giles said: “I’m really happy to be continuing my career with the Ospreys. This is the club that I grew up supporting, the place where I made my debut and the team where I have developed into the player I am today.
“Some of my best friends play here, and I feel privileged have played alongside them for as long as I have. We’re all excited by what the future holds under Mark, and we’re looking forward to building on that going forward.”
Head Coach, Mark Jones, said: “Keelan is an incredible talent that we see as a crucial component of our team going forward, so we’re delighted to have him re-sign with the Ospreys. It’s always a great indicator of the project you’re building, when players as talented as Keelan, are willing to commit their long-term futures to the club.”
