Keelan Giles signs new deal with Ospreys

The Ospreys are thrilled to announce that wing sensation Keelan Giles has committed his future to the team with the ink freshly drying on a new deal.

Giles, a product of Waunarlywdd RFC and the Ospreys' fruitful academy system, has been an integral part of the side's backline since his emergence onto the senior scene. Known for his scintillating pace and an uncanny ability to find the try line, Giles has continuously impressed both fans and critics alike with his performances in the BKT URC and EPCR competitions.

This new agreement is a testament to Keelan's progression since his debut and the faith the Ospreys have in his talent. Giles has already notched up an impressive number of appearances and tries for the club, with 32 tries in 85 appearances. Five of those tries having come this season.

Speaking on the signing, Head Coach, Toby Booth, said: ”Keeping Keelan at the Ospreys is a huge boost for everyone connected with the club. He's an exciting talent that can often light up a game and we know there’s even more to come from him.

“Keelan is an important part of our team. We've seen him grow here and it's clear he represents the values and ambition of the Ospreys."

Giles added: ”The Ospreys have been a massive part of my career and I'm over the moon to have signed a new deal. I grew up supporting the Ospreys, this is my home club and I'm excited to continue my development here.

“We’ve got a great bunch of players and coaches here and I’ve been enjoying my rugby lately, so signing this deal was a no-brainer for me.”

The Ospreys, renowned for their commitment to nurturing local talent, see Giles as a key component of their long-term vision. The club’s management has reinforced its dedication to building a strong, sustainable team, and securing the services of a homegrown player of Giles’ caliber is seen as a critical step in that process.

The new deal means supporters can continue to enjoy Keelan’s electric brand of rugby, as Toby Booth’s men look to build on their strong start to the season.
