Karl Morgan set to rock the Liberty this

Swansea born singer/songwriter Karl Morgan will be providing the pre-match entertainment at the Liberty Stadium this Saturday, ahead of the big Heineken Cup clash against Toulouse (KO 1.35pm).

The highly acclaimed performer, whose tracks have been featured worldwide on adverts for the likes of Chevrolet, Nivea and Abercombie & Fitch, will be performing before kick-off, entertaining supporters as they arrive for the must-win game against the French giants.

Karl released his first tracks on iTunes earlier this year, which sold all over the world including the USA, Canada and Japan. During 2012, Karl has toured extensively, playing gigs in countries as diverse as Bermuda, France, Spain, Holland, Dubai, India, Norway and Iceland.

While Karl and his band The Click perform inside the stadium in the build-up to kick-off, there will also be plenty going on in the special Christmas themed Supporters Village.

Open for business from 10am and then post-match until 4pm, the Christmas Village will have festive food and gift stalls selling all kinds of goodies, with a special appearance from the big man himself, Father Christmas, all in addition to the usual family fun and games.

Ospreys Commercial Manager, Yarnie Guthrie, said:

“It’s a massive game for the Ospreys this weekend, and with it being so close to Christmas we wanted to make it extra special for fans coming to the game on Saturday. We’ve got everything to play for on the pitch, we are still in the mix and a win will really make things interesting so we want to try and create a great atmosphere that will inspire the team.

“To have Karl Morgan performing inside the stadium is a real coup. An up and coming local talent who is already making a huge impression in the music world, we are looking forward to seeing him get the Liberty Stadium bouncing ahead of kick-off.

“Outside in the Village, there is a special Christmas theme, with the star attraction of Santa Claus helping to make it a memorable day for all our supporters, young and old.

“It’s going to be a special occasion, a great match and a big day for the Ospreys. We want as many people here as we can to support the cause and get behind the team, and with so much going on it’s a great family day out.”
