With the race for the Magners League Play-Offs hotting up, tickets for the Ospreys two remaining home fixtures against Cardiff Blues and Munster are now on sale.
Both games will have a huge bearing on the final Magners League table with Munster currently sitting at the top of the table, the only team ahead of the Ospreys, while the Blues hold the final Play-Off place with a game in hand on the teams above them.
Two great games are guaranteed, with big crowds set to pack into the Liberty Stadium and young flanker Justin Tipuric, who has led the Ospreys during their record equalling run of seven consecutive wins up to last Saturday’s defeat of Glasgow, says that the players are looking forward to seeing their home ground packed for the two big matches.
“They are going to be great games, big occasions and exciting matches between well matched teams trying to secure a home semi-final” he said.
“The squad has done brilliantly to put us in a really good position, and with just five games to go in the regular season, every point we can pick up now is crucial. These two home games are going to be massive. All the hard work we’ve done will go to waste if we don’t back it up against our Play-Off rivals.
“You can see just by looking at the table how the Play-Offs have had a positive impact on the Magners League. Everything is still up for grabs, and we’ve got two massive home games still to come, where I’d expect to see big crowds really getting behind the Ospreys. It’s going to be fantastic being involved, everyone here is really looking forward to it, just like the fans are I’m sure.”
Cardiff Blues visit the Liberty Stadium on Saturday 2nd April, with Munster following three weeks later on Saturday 23rd April, both games kicking off at 6.30pm.
