The biggest family day out in the rugby calendar, Judgement Day, returns for 2024!  Hosted at Cardiff City Stadium on Saturday 1 June 2024 with the double header event featuring the BKT United Rugby Championship Round 18 matches between Scarlets v Dragons and Cardiff v Ospreys.

Tickets go on sale to the general public today – Tuesday 5 December - from 10am via the Cardiff City Stadium ticketing site. Ticket prices for Judgement Day 2024 have been frozen at last year’s 2023 prices with a limited number of tickets at £10 adults/£5 juniors being made available. The full pricing matrix can be found below.

Season ticket holders of the two home clubs, Scarlets and Cardiff, have Judgement Day included as part of their season ticket membership. Season ticket holders will have access to the best seats and the opportunity to purchase additional tickets and sit alongside their guests. All details regarding season tickets will be communicated directly by the two home clubs.

The move away from Principality Stadium has been necessitated due to the later start to the season. The Rugby World Cup, meant that the final round of URC matches will now happen in June. This is later than the traditional  window in which Judgement Day is hosted in late March or early April.

Judgement Day will once again have a strong community element to the event, with a junior rugby festival involving clubs from across the country as well as a schools dance and movement programme. Music and entertainment will also be a feature of the day with all ticket holders able to watch both matches - Scarlets v Dragons (kick off 15.00) followed by Cardiff v Ospreys (kick off 17.15)

Nigel Walker, WRU interim CEO says, “Judgement Day is one of the highlights of the Welsh rugby calendar.

“In the 10-plus years since the first event was held in Cardiff; it’s proved its appeal to regular supporters and to families wishing to enjoy a day out together and the opportunity to watch some of Wales’ brightest and most exciting stars play in their regional colours.

“Cardiff City Stadium is a fantastic venue and I’m confident they will do a spectacular job of hosting next year’s event and I wish them every success.

“I look forward to attending and seeing a packed stadium and some thrilling rugby action!”

Martin Anayi the CEO of the BKT United Rugby Championship commented, “This is set to be a really unique occasion for regional club rugby in a venue that has world-class facilities and close surroundings that will make for a raucous atmosphere.

“We know from our previous plans to host a final in Cardiff City Stadium that the ground will provide a fantastic match-day experience for supporters while the playing surface and the summer weather should provide the perfect setting for some fast-paced rugby.”
