Paul James will miss the start of the 2018/19 season as he continues his recovery from shoulder surgery.
The experienced prop, who tops the Region’s appearance record with 232 games, is working hard with the medical team at Llandarcy Academy of Sport but is still awaiting a return to play date.
Chris Towers, Medical Performance Manager, explained:
“Paul is still in the early stages of rehab following open shoulder reconstruction surgery and that will continue to be his focus during pre-season. As such he is unlikely to be ready at the start of the season, we will update accordingly in due course.”
