It's nearly time for the BIG One

The biggest crowd in Welsh regional rugby this season will be at the Liberty Stadium this Saturday afternoon for the eagerly anticipated Guinness PRO14 derby clash with the Scarlets.

With 12,000 tickets already snapped up, a bumper attendance is expected for the big game, which gets underway at 3pm.

The first instalment of this season’s Ospreys v Scarlets rivalry was played out at Parc y Scarlets at the start of October, the Ospreys outscoring their hosts three tries to two but missing out by three points in a physical and intense battle that finished 20-17 to the home side.

The two teams boast identical records so far in the Guinness PRO14, with six wins and four losses, the Scarlets with one of the most potent attacks, the Ospreys with one of the sternest defences, and with play-off places and European qualification all up for grabs, it’s a big game with everything to play for.

Supporters are being urged not to leave it until matchday to purchase tickets – instead, they should buy online now to avoid the inevitable delays when buying last minute on game day.

The Scarlets game is the first of three derby clashes for the Ospreys over a two week period, that sees them travel to Rodney Parade on Sunday 30th January before welcoming Cardiff Blues to the Liberty Stadium on Saturday 5th January, with the earlybird deadline for that game this Friday (21st December).

Tickets for the Scarlets clash start at just £25* adults, £5* for kids and are available to buy now at www.ospreysrugby.com/buytickets and via the ticket hotline on 01792 616400.
